Assistant Law Director
The City of Sandusky is accepting applications for the position of Assistant Law Director.
This position is one that requires general legal knowledge and experience to be able to represent the City under the supervision anddirection of the Law Director before the various courts, governing boards,committees, and all other legally constituted bodies.
Employee is responsible for variety of complex professional legal duties including providing legal
advice to the City Commission, City Manager, Department Heads, and City Boards and Committees.
The Assistant Law Director may fill in as needed in the prosecution before the Sandusky Municipal Court.
The ideal candidate for this position will be dynamic and energetic and must possess a Juris Doctorate degree from an accredited law school with active status registration pursuant to the Supreme Court Rules for theGovernment of the Ohio Bar or be eligible for prompt admission pursuant to those rules.
Salary is negotiable and will be commensurate with experience andeducation.
