The City of Sandusky is accepting applications for the full-time position of City Manager.
The City of Sandusky is looking for an individual with strong knowledge in local government management with experience in finance, administration, economic development, human resources, utilities, public works and local government public relations. The ideal candidate should be a strategic planner and an articulate communicator, experienced in cultural diversity, well organized in both oral and written communication. The City manager assists the City Commission boards and committees in the development of administrative structures under Sandusky's charter.
A Bachelor's Degree in Public Administration or related field is required, with a Master's Degree in Government/Public Administration preferred, and 4 years progressive management experience required, with management in public administration preferred, with a proven ability to effectively manage and interact with a large number of employees.
